I'm currently working on adding some custom formatting and partitioning features to my MDT/WDS environment and just thought of the following:

NTFS versions: I'm doing my work from within the LTI winPE image (using diskpart.exe). I need the partitions that I create and format to work with Windows 2000, 2003, and/or 2008 (not all at the same time). Do I need to be specifying different NTFS versions, if thats even possible?

I haven't gotten too far into 2008 yet but I don't think you need to do anything different. 2003 can see a NTFS drive created with 2008, I would just assume it can't utilize any of the new 2008 bells and whistles (self healing NTFS) when connected to 2003. I haven't found anything in the diskpart scripts that is doing any type of determination of "if its 2008, do somthing different..." I'm sure an MVP could verify :-)
