I need to duplicate/copy a MDT 2008 installation/configuration to other servers with other hostnames.

In the past I also did this with BDD 2007 and this was very simple I just installed BDD 2007 and copy the Distribution directory, shared it and changed 2 or 3 files with the named of the old server with the new server name.

I also need to do this for a MDT 2008 installation. Can anyone tell me if this trick also works for MDT 2008? Or do I need to do more than that?

Thank's in advance,

Egmond

yes just make a backup of your deployment points and you should be good to go (distribution folder and other deployment points if you have any.
