I just started getting an error message on LTI installs of windows xp sp2.  The error is Invalid credentials: You were not connected because a duplicate name exists on the network.  If joining a domain, go to system in control panel to change the computer name and try again.  If joining a workgroup, choose another workgroup name.  This was working yesterday and nothing to my knowledge had been changed.  Any ideas on where to start looking?  If I echo the computer name I am getting MINININT-TC7V4MS.  If I try to ping the pc from a different pc I get request timed out.  But I can ping several different location from the pc I am trying to install windows on, including the pc that gets request timed out.

Thanks

Dan

It at least appears that I'm not able to authenticate with the domain server.  I have our networking group working on it to see if something changed on the switches but they havn't found anything yet.

Other pc's that pull an IP from this DHCP server are working. I can ping them and remotly manage them. It's just pc's that have the winpe image loaded that aren't working properly.
