We have BDD 2007 running at the company. But I want to easy role out servers. I know that this can be done with the new version of BDD, Microsoft Deployment.

My question is, can I upgrade BDD to Microsoft Deployment because I don't want to reconfigure everything again.

thanks

Microsoft says you can upgrade to MDT, however there have been some issues for some people who have done this. When I performed the upgrade, I ran into an error that alot of people had (I can't remember what it was). All these people who had this problem, including myself, had to start over and remove BDD 2007.

Some things to keep in mind: read the below documentation, a few variables in the rules for deployment points have changed, and backup the distribution folder.

Good luck
