Does anybody know how to reliably find the Office 2003 Service Pack version, via a script and preferably the registry? The value in the Uninstall key does not provide consistent results. There was a KB article (which I don't have at the moment) but was titled How to Determine your Office 2003 version. They give methods but all produce varied results. I was able to locate a branch in the registry which is related to Windows Installer but the key path is not easy (it is some variation of the Product Code/GUID. I am guessing the inconsistency is a result of how the update was installed (Windows Update, standalone install, etc.) Any help is appreciated. |
