Can anyone who has successfully incorporated critical security updates into their image give me a step by setup process of setting this up? I'd prefer to use the the Offiline task setup.

Thanks

There isn't a way to slipstream updates into a WIM file for XP. Your only options are to do one of the following:

1) Slipstream the updates into a source CD and create a new image.
2) Install the non-updated WIM and then use Windows Update or WSUS to deploy the updates automatically.
3) Install each update as an application inside MDT
