Hi guys

I've been playing arround with mdt using virtual machines and so far so good as i didn´t tried all the possibilities of mdt.

During this time I noticed that in a virtual scenario the amount of memory has to be set to 512 mb at least.

Is this the mininum required even for xp machines ?

shouldn't be the normal mininum requirements for each operating system?

Is there a way to change this behaviour? (is this is ts normal behaviour)

Is there anything misunderstood in my question?

Anyone of you have tried to deploy a machine with less than 512 mb of ram?

I'm not sure if it is a minimum with WinPE or MDT, but it does require 512mb.  I'm sure a lot of it has to do with shoddy programming and the use of a Ram drive.

its a WinPE2.0 thing, it needs 256mb to load, but 512mb to actually run, whoever designed that needs to be shot lol. But yeah, 512mb is the minimum to run WinPE2.0
