Hi All,

I have been deploying new and used computers in my company using BDD 2007 for about 6 Months now. It's been working great up until a couple of weeks ago when I started experiencing failure deploying/refreshing Dell Optiplex GX240. We are a Dell shop by the way. All new models work just fine, but when I PXE boot an Optiplex GX240 and select the boot image (LiteTouch  or Longhorn), it seems to progress as expected, and just as I am about to see the background, it errors out with following message: "WinPE failed to load because the required file is missing or corrupt

File:NDIS.SYS

Status:0xc0000017

Unfortunately this is not always the same missing file; if I tried a different machine, it could be the NTLDR file missing, with the same status code.

Has anyone else experience this?

Just wanted to give a little more backroud info. The failing computer is not PXE, but MBA compliant

This is the failure message in its entirety:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix this problem

  1. Insert your windows installation media and restart your computer
  2. Choose your language settings and click "Next"
  3. Click "Repair your computer"

File: \Windows\System32\ntoskrnl.exe

Status:0xc0000017

info: Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt.
