Hallo!

What do I have to do when I install the ZTI image via SMS 2003 from Add/Remove Programs in Windows XP to
run everytime a "New Computer" and no "Refresh" scenario? We are a govermental institution with some "secret" informations on PCs and our departments have to handle their data for themselves. We are not allowed to copy the files automatic to a file share. The users have to save his own files to a special secured store. So we don´t have a "refresh" scenario.

Thanks

Not real sure on the specific procedures via an advertised application, but I recall being able to edit the customsettings.ini for the associated task sequence of the advertised application. Just specify in the .ini that you are doing a new computer install. You could then skip the refresh window in your cs.ini and it will do the new computer portions of your task sequence.
Sorry about the vague reply, but haven't used mdt at all with sms 2003 only SCCM, so I am thinking the procedures are similar. Hopefully this can point you in the right direction.

Why don't you just disable the state capture steps?
