Good day,

I have one suggestion, go into the deployment share on your MDT server example C:\Deploy\Control\DEPLOY01 and edit the TS.xml and verify that the sequencesare set the way you would perfer. Download XML Notepad this will make reading your xml files more easy. I would make sure the Windows installer is the first item installed to ensure that you have no problems installing other updates, or newer programs that need the latest version on WI to install. As far as the keyboard layout it:

All you have to do is:

  • Open control panel
  • open the regional and language options
  • go to the advanced tab
  • Activate the "Apply all settings to the current user account and to the default user profile"
    image
  • Press Apply or OK, log off and you will see that the keyboard has the layout you wanted...

The same solution is valid for Windows XP.

The pasted link goes into more detail that you can apply to the sysprep file located in the control folder on your deployment share of your MDT server. Hope this at least points you in the right direction.

Cheers!

Hi Paul

Thx for replying and for the info.
I've managed to deploy the aplications correctely first wm tools n order to get the drivers than Wi and finaly office12 , all went well .

My issue is now with regional settings :-(

take a look at my cs.ini and let me know if I'm missing something:

SkipLocaleSelection=Yes
UILanguage=pt-PT
UserLocale=pt-PT
SystemLocale=pt-PT
KeyboardLocale=pt-PT
SkipTimeZone=Yes
TimeZone=85
TimeZoneName=GMT Standard Time

The only option that went well was  - TimeZoneName=GMT Standard Time

I've been trought the logs and it seems that all the settings were applied with success.

Again thx for you time

br

Pedro
