I already checked wether the id's of the hardware are a match for the id's in the .inf file of the drivers (both in the .inf file as in drivers.xml). HardwareID's: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_040F&SUBSYS_049A10DE&REV_A1 PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_040F&SUBSYS_049A10DE PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_040F&CC_030000 PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_040F&CC_0300 The id's match, OS version 6.0 matches, and the architecture X64/Amd64 matches. Drivers.xml: NVIDIA Display NVDW.inf 7.15.11.6255 NVIDIA 7.15.11.6255 08/04/2007 .\Out-of-box Drivers\Display\NVD 7.15.11.6255\NVDW.inf Display x64 6.0 LOTS OF OTHERS PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_040F&SUBSYS_049A10DE A FEW MORE
nvdw.inf:
[Manufacturer] %NVIDIA% = NVIDIA.Mfg,NTamd64.6.0
[NVIDIA.Mfg.NTamd64.6.0]
%LOTS OF OTHERS %NVIDIA_G84.DEV_040F.1% = nv_G8x, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_040F&SUBSYS_049A10DE %A FEW MORE Manual installation of the driver works perfectly, but during hardware detection (in WinPE2.0 (sp1) because of a strange reason, the driver is not detected, and in the end Generic Display Driver in Vista64 is installed in stead of the nVidia driver wich can be found in the Out-of-Box Drivers. The Out-of-Box Drivers contain many nVidia drivers, and a few of them can be used manually. Some drivers are downloaded from the Dell website, others are directly from nVidia (Tried it all). Does somebody know what could be the reason that this driver is not used in the Vista64 hardware detection or matched and copied locally by the ZTIDrivers.wsf script? Sorry for the crappy Drivers.xml data, some of the tags are interpreted in stead of just displayed as txt.
