Hello,
An idea for an article is something similar to the article Scalable BDD Deployment in the November 2007 issue of TechNet Magazine, written by Adam Shepard.

I followed Adam's general instructions but ran into an issue with a total scalable solution because we do not use Deployment Services to PXE Boot images. We use PXE Linux so we can boot both archs but Adam suggested a couple of suggestions that might be helpful to others' who have the same dilema as we do especially because WinPE does not support Domain Based DFS.

One workaround is to configure a CS.ini file like the following:
[Settings]
Priority=DefaultGateway, GoDeploy

𖐸.168.1.1]
WDSServer=SERVER01

[GoDeploy]
Deployroot=\\%WDSServer%\Distribution$

thanks

Hi!

I think it would be very interesting with an article about the integration between MD and SCCM 2007.
How to configure cs.ini in SCCM and also the use of the DWDB.

I would agree it would be helpful to get some information on the integration of MDT and SCCM.  I've played a little with the Import MDT Task Sequence link in SCCM.  What I would like to be able to do is build a custom task sequence in MDT, save it as a template in MDT, and then be able to pull that into SCCM.

Another "hole", if you will, that I seen in MDT (also in BDD 07) is with the sorting of applications.  There are utilities out there to sort Applications.xml in BDD 07, but I haven't found anything yet that's agreeable with the updated format of Applications.xml in MDT, including application bundles.

I would be great to have more import/export capabilities in MDT.  I've had to move between a few different servers from my development phase to production and then another environment to put MDT on the same server as SCCM.  Just having to move around my task sequences and applications is somewhat of a hassle.  MS should've built in more import/export capability.
